Training for Service

Laurelbrook will equip you and help you reach the front lines before you graduate. Share your faith in community churches. Travel abroad to Mexico or Cuba in one of our affordable annual mission trips. Perform with the choir, bell choir, or string ensemble in churches across the region. Laurelbrook will prepare you to share your faith and the message of a soon coming King.

Mission Trips (COVID restrictions may apply)

Laurelbrook participates in several mission trips a year. The first mission trip of the school year takes place at Christmas time. This year Laurelbrook was invited to go to VIDA International. While in Honduras, the group excavated earth, laid rebar, and mixed and poured the cement for five floors an two pillars. It was and excellent trip.

Our second mission trip sends our staff and students to the Dominican Republic during Spring Break.

Our students are working hard to raise funds. If you feel impressed to help a student participate in a mission trip, we'd appreciate your donation. Every bit helps to further His work. If you're unable to contribute monetarily, please keep us in your prayers as we visit these different places.

Total Campus Involvement (TCI)

Laurelbrook Academy is ministering in our community. We have implemented the General Conference initiative Total Member Involvement on a local scale, called ‘Total Campus Involvement’. We make contact with community service leaders, as well as local residents, to find out how we can help.

M.O.V.E.

"With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world!"

- Counsels to Teachers, Parents, and Students, p. 555

Testimonial:

“In all my recruiting trips, I find that this [spiritual retreat] was the best one I have been on. The spiritual atmosphere that the students and staff of Laurelbrook Academy created was evidence of the way God is working through this school. I left the spiritual retreat spiritually refreshed and inspired due to the fact that we still have young people that are on fire for the Lord, who long to do God’s will in their lives and to do service for His kingdom.”
